A meditative setting of a Latin tranlsation of the Hallelujah Chorus text from Handel's Messiah, inspired by music of the Russian Orthodox liturgy. Soloists interject the main stanzas of text between repeated Alleluias from the choir in antiphony. First performed by the student chamber choir, Animas, in the University of York, 2016.
